Triploli League is Riverside's own in house league.

​

​

Triploli League, established in 2013,

is now in it's 27th season. 

Each season runs for 12 weeks: 
11 weeks of league play and 1 week playoffs.

 

Each week a 3 person team competes against

2 other teams in two rounds of play per night.

6 matches are played in a round: 

 

   1. 8 ball Singles
    2. 9 ball Singles
    3. 8 or 9 ball Singles - visitor team choice
    4. 8 ball Partners
    5. 9 ball Partners
   6. 8 or 9 ball Partners - home team choice


Home team designation is determined by lag or coin toss

at the beginning of a round.

8 Ball matches are based on Maine VNEA rules, with slight variations:

If a player makes the 8 on the break it is a win.

If a player scratches on the 8 ball shot it is a loss of game.

Any player rated a 1, 2, or 3 is allowed 1 coach per 8 ball match.

Players 4 and above are not allowed a coach.

9 ball matches are based on Maine APA rules, with slight variation:

A Push-out after the break is allowed. 

After a Push-out, your opponent may opt to take the shot or

make you shoot the next shot.

2 coaches per 9 ball game is allowed for players rated 3 or lower.

Any player with a 4 handicap or higher is allowed 1 coach per 9 ball match.

2 coaches are allowed during a 9 ball doubles match

and both may be used on the same player, if desired.

 

Pay out at the end of the season depends on how many teams play 

and every team gets a pay out! Not once but Twice!!

1 payout for where your team places at the end of the season

and then again after playoffs depending where your team finishes overall!

Each team also has a top player payout!

You must play at least 50% of the season matches to receive this.

Seasonal dues of $10 are due at the beginning of each session.

Weekly dues are $11 on match night.
